AIR TREATMENT / URBAN’ALG®
Better air for
the places we share.
A living microalgae system designed to reduce excess CO₂ within a defined local zone, bringing visible environmental innovation to offices, campuses, public spaces and destinations.
Microalgae-powered local air treatmentWHY IT MATTERS
Air quality is part
of the experience.
In the places people work, learn, travel and gather, indoor and local outdoor air quality matters.
Urban’Alg uses photosynthesis to capture a portion of excess CO₂ passing through the unit and release oxygen-enriched air. It complements existing building ventilation; it does not replace ventilation or function as a carbon-offset instrument.
TWO FORMATS / ONE PRINCIPLE
Designed to fit
your environment.
3 metres
Suited to offices, transit concourses, terminals and more contained occupied spaces.
5 metres
Designed for large halls, public spaces, campuses and larger environments.
Supplier-reported reduction in excess CO₂ within the local zone of influence, subject to initial conditions, ventilation, occupancy and commissioning measurements. Not a whole-building claim.
LIVING TECHNOLOGY
Nature working
in your space.
The system creates a local zone of treated air using a monitored biological process without free standing culture water.
Draw in ambient air
Air enters the top of the unit.
Pass through microalgae
Supported biological plates interact with the air.
Fix CO₂, release O₂
Photosynthesis converts a portion of incoming CO₂.
Monitor the environment
On-board sensors track relevant conditions.
BUILT FOR SHARED PLACES
Where can Urban’Alg
make a difference?
Humidity, temperature and CO₂ sensing, with optional remote supervision.
Commissioning, a biological run-in period and planned maintenance.
Purchase or multiyear lease options, with transparent equipment, installation and support pricing.
Urban’Alg acts locally and complements existing ventilation systems. Actual CO₂ reduction is site-dependent and must be confirmed against measured baseline conditions. Installation and climate requirements must be checked for each site, particularly in outdoor GCC conditions.
